Road Safety

What we do

The Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO) are elected from the primary six class each year. They serve the school educating the younger pupils about issues to do with road safety and keeping safe out and about in West Linton. The JRSOs main job is raising awareness about the dangers of crossing roads. They especially try to connect with the younger students.

The JRSOs work with the teachers to make fun and creative competitions which are usually split in two parts with a competition for the lower school and a competition for the upper school. Then they award a first, second and third with lots of prizes.
