P6/7 are onto their second week of their ‘classroom chefs, life skills: slow-cooked’ sessions kindly
provided by the Peeblesshire food bank, and this week we have been making buttered chicken. We
learnt the best way to peel ginger, with a teaspoon, and worked together in groups to prep the
butternut squash, garlic, chicken and chicken alternative. We hope it is as tasty as it smells!
