Today we had a visit from Estelle at the fire service. She taught us how to perform CPR and how to check if a person needs CPR. We learnt so much about how to get help and how to keep doing CPR until an ambulance arrives.
We practiced on the dummies in partners – it was very tiring! We tried to get the dummies to click so that we knew we were pressing hard enough but only some of us managed to do it!
We hope we won’t need to use CPR on anybody but now that we know how we are glad we would be able to help someone.
